Elegant antique pocket watch presentation box crafted in richly figured rosewood or kingwood veneer with a geometric book-matched veneer pattern to the lid and a central brass cartouche. The lid features a beveled glass viewing panel, allowing the owner's pocket watch to remain visible while safely stored inside.
The interior is fitted as a watch compartment and originally would have housed a gentleman's pocket watch suspended or displayed beneath the glazed lid. History
