Realistic b loose, leaning toward the Barbizon or early genre landscape style
Likely circa 1850-1880 (with early 20th century conservation lining; lightly attached for support preserving original painted surface and craquelure)
Texture is coard weave canvas tpical of 19th century
Some areas showing flattening of impasto typical of older oils exposed to pressure or light tension
In the late 19th and 20th C some painting were given a protective second canvas layer without a full flue reline to help structure. It was loosely and lightly done. They preserved it properly without overly restoring it. Done in the old fashioned, gentle way
