A decorative vintage Italian brass vessel modeled as a miniature neoclassical urn. The cylindrical cup is applied with oval profile medallions depicting classical figures in low relief, each separated and framed by swags of fine brass chain.
The body rests above a cast foliate collar and short turned stem, terminating in a stepped square plinth base. A contrasting braided band encircles the foot, adding further texture and architectural detail. The warm, naturally aged surface retains areas of brighter gold alongside darker oxidation and subtle coppery tones.
The piece is stamped “ITALY” along the base. Its compact size and richly ornamented design make it especially appealing as a decorative desk cup, match holder, small cachepot, brush pot, or sculptural Grand Tour–style accent.
