Warm caramel full leather with blind-tooled scrolling vine and foliate motifs forming a diagonal panel design on the front board
Gilt accents decorate the upper and lower corners - delicate touch reminiscent of Art Nouveau ecclesiastical bindings from the early 20th c
Endpapers are swirled marbled paper in matching sepia and ochre tones
Illustrations: printed in distinctive green ink, with engraved border vignettes or Eucharistic symbolism - chalice with rays (IHS monogram), the Lamb of God, lilies, and vines
