Small Georgian/Regency-period mahogany box with domed lid, brass escutcheon, and remnants of a velvet-lined interior. Originally intended to house a fitted set of personal or domestic implements—possibly dessert knives, sewing tools, spectacles, or other valuables. The original fitted interior is no longer present, leaving an attractive decorative storage box with warm figured mahogany and early 19th-century construction details.
