Set of 4 Salvage Pieces (Two matching side furniture mounts)
Rococo-Revival gilt-bronze furniture or mirror mount (circa 1855-1880)
Crafted in Louis XV style so fashionable during teh Second Empire and early Belle Epoque
Cast gilt bronze (ormolu) with burnished highlights and a matt underside
Openwork Rococo acanthus scroll entwined with leafy tendrils, floral drops, and a pair of birds perched at the crest
Two or three drilled holds on the back for small screws or tacks - indicating attachment to wood
